Adventures In Design Removed From iTunes!

Whoops!!! I finally did it. I finally went to fare and got kicked out of the store. Was my first thoughts when I found out that AID had been removed from iTunes.

Earlier this year, my cover artwork one day disappeared from my podcast hosting company. I thought nothing of it and reuploaded the artwork but removed the color going back to straight black and white.

Today when I was trying to promote the Justin Scarred episode, I couldn't get it to show up on my phone. I then went over to Chrome to get the episode link from the AID Apple web portal and learned that "This Content Is No Longer Available In The United States!"

It seems my cover artwork didn't meet the technical specifications that the Apple store needs. And without notice, they deleted my show of eight years and 1079 episodes.

But don't worry, they will get back to me within one business day.

So now I wait. I wait and hope that the new cover gets quickly approved, and everything is back to normal and that I don't lose my spot in the charts, my reviews, and my coveted "suggested show" placement. All the things I have broken my back to achieve.

The Apple Podcasts app/portal is about 70% of my free listeners. This is the metric that advertisers care the most about. This is the number that gets me my media access.

So until this is resolved, I can't put up any new AID episodes, and I also need to give 1080 the Justin Scarred episode room to breathe once it's fully released. Hammer Time will still come out this Friday as that's a different podcast. But AID is temporary on hold until this gets resolved.

Maybe it's just one interview and one Hammer Time this week. It's not what I had planned, but what makes the most sense.

I will keep you all updated. Thanks for your patience, support, and understanding.

Brickey!
