1025 - What Is MondoCon 5? - Every Aisle, Nearly Every Booth Reviewed (VIDEO)
MondoCon 5 is a semi annual convention that's always held in Austin, Texas and celebrates the collectable company Mondo, their artists and collectors. Mondo invites some of their favorite partners in making collectable limited edition merchandise to come to Austin and set up a booth for the weekend selling their own original artwork and limited edition prints. Many artists as well as Mondo make limited items just for the weekend and the demand from the collectors creates a 24 hour line outside the convention center.
Mondo creates limited edition screen printed posters for our favorite classic and contemporary films, television shows and comics, along with vinyl movie soundtracks, VHS re-issues, toys, and apparel. In addition to their online shop, they have a permanent gallery space in Austin, TX featuring a mix of original artwork and limited edition screen prints.
