On July 31, 2019, Mark Brickey went to the Disneyland Resort at the crack of dawn, took the Disneyland parking tram from the parking garage to the park and back, completing a lap. Mark took tram laps starting at 7 am until the last tram left the station.

All in the name of good fun, celebrating his love of Disneyland and an attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the most tram rides in a single operating day.

Mark completed over 100 laps!

Mark Brickey

Mark is the host of Adventures In Design: A daily talk show that explores people who have designed happiness into their creative professional lives. Mark is an avid fan of Disneyland and visits the park weekly. In an attempt to set the first Guinness World Record for most Disneyland tram rides in a single operating day, Mark now holds the position as VGHC Disneyland Stuntman.

This Guinness World Record attempt was led and sponsored by VGHC, the official streetwear brand of the AID Network.

Why “Brickey 100”?

In this nineteen-hour long event, Mark Brickey attempted to take 100 total laps on the Disneyland tram, which he accomplished by 10pm, and continued riding until closing time to set the record.

How Can I Participate?

Join Mark on July 31, 2019 at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California as he rides the tram. Come hang, bring snacks, and be a part of this #Brickey100 Guinness World Record attempt. Find Mark as he queues up for the next tram ride, and celebrate with swag from VGHC, the official sponsor of this event.

If you can’t make it to Disneyland that day, follow @aidpodcast and @violentgentlemen on Instagram for live videos and story recaps from the all-day event. On Friday, August 2nd, you can watch the full adventure documented at the AID YouTube channel.

Rules.

If you’re joining Mark for some laps, please be kind, stay low key and use family-friendly language. Remember when you’re at Disneyland to always be a Citizen of Disneyland, and please respect the families and children riding the tram to enjoy the Disneyland Magic. We don't want to be rowdy and get shut down, but instead, let everyone enjoy the fun of this historic event.
